Stroud FC under 16’s this season have had considerable success in developing their players to be ready to go into Professional Football. They have had two players Daniel Martin and twin brother Joe gain professional contracts with Swindon Town. Tony Whiting, Stroud U16 manager, wishes them all the success for the future.
In recent weeks Swindon have also taken Ben Whiting, Manolo Marquez Espada and goalkeeper Nathan Dennis on trial until the end of February.
Cheltenham Town have taken our other goalkeeper Christian Royles on trial.
Due to this overwhelming success with player development that the local professional clubs are recognising Stroud now need to try and find players to replace these players to fulfil our fixtures, and therefore need a goalkeeper along with central defenders and midfield players.
