JPLs
Welcome to the home of the Junior Premier League South the newest most exciting league in the region.

The league has been conceived by large clubs in the area interested in developing our players through better coaching and better quality matches. The league is directly sanctioned by The FA and they have supported us in our efforts to start this league to give the best players, not already in a professional club academy or centre of excellence, a chance to play and train at a higher level and so increase their chances of gaining exposure to the highest level of football possible.

JPL South matches are played to a high standard, both in terms of the quality of competition and in our full commitment to adhere to the FA’s RESPECT campaign.

Our organisation of matches will follow the same set up that the professional academy leagues have with one club playing another across all age groups (3 home and 2 away) each weekend – this allows for easier transportation and more social interaction between the players and parents. Our matches are played on a Saturday and the facilities where our matches are played have to be excellent to allow the brand of football that we want to promote.

All the clubs involved will have to show their development plans for their players along with constant access to higher level coaches. Although it is essentially about developing players for the member clubs, the teams involved have already produced many players that have signed contracts with professional clubs.
